My MooSkins review :)

A couple of weeks ago, I noticed a post on Twitter asking for people to review MooSkins personalised phone covers. Naturally, I jumped at the chance!

It wasn’t too long ago that I found Mooskins via a lovely Twitter lady. This was shortly after I’d given birth to my beautiful little girl, and was over the moon to find a company that could put her face on my phone!
In the past, I have spent far far too much on phone cases. Before I upgraded to my wonderful iPhone4, I had an iPhone3, and 10 cases for it! So on average if 1 case costs £5 (which we all know they don’t!), I’d spent £50 on cases! I wasn’t about to make the same mistake again with my new phone! However, I tried case after case, I think I have at least 4 thrown away in a drawer somewhere, but they just didn’t ‘work’. This is where MooSkins came to my rescue!
I now have 2 covers/cases from the lovely people at MooSkins, the second one was kindly sent to me so that I could review it for you all. Where do I start?!

Picture quality;
For my first cover, I sent a photo that was a bit grainy, though it didn’t come out too bad! For my new mooskin, I sent one of my favourite photos of my baby…

… I was not disappointed! The quality of the photo on my cover is really good, and the colour has come out wonderfully. Originally I had worried about the photo wrapping around the sides, as I thought it may make the photo itself look odd, but it wraps perfectly. On the website (www.mooskins.com) when you purchase a phone cover, you’re able to resize, rotate and re-position your photo before it is sent, which is marvellous as it gives you the control on how your case will look. When I sent my photo to MooSkins, they positioned the photo for me, and I’ve got to say it’s perfectly placed!

The actual case;
There is nothing bad I can say about the quality of my cases. When I received my first, I was so disappointed as I could not get my phone to go in. It looked like it should fit, but I didn’t want to break it putting my phone in, so my hubby came home from work (!) to do it for me. It turns out I just needed to be firm with it, so when my second arrived, I wasted no time in taking my old one off and replacing it with my even better (and pink!) new one!

The plastic itself is so strong, I’ve never found a case like it. Once the phone is in, there are no little gaps, the case fits like a very snug glove, leaving access to the volume buttons on the side, the power button on the top, and the dock connector on the bottom.

Strength & durability;
Unfortunately, I seem to be quite a clumsy person, when I’m not dropping my phone, it just gets thrown in my bag, careless I know, with my keys for company. Fortunately MooSkin phone cases are both scratch resistant and chip resistant. That’ll come in handy when I’m trying to multi-task pushing a buggy and talking to hubby… oh wait, that happened. Luckily after I’d picked up my phone from the floor, I did indeed notice that it was safe and sound in its little case. Phew!

Delivery;
When you receive your personalised MooSkin case, which I’m sure you’ll be ordering shortly, it will arrive snug in a little vac-formed plastic box in a padded envelope, nice and safe. Mine also took as little as 48 hours to reach me, you can’t ask for better than that!

Honestly, if it wasn’t for the fact that I now have a fab case, I would be ordering more! Perhaps when my little girl gets a bit bigger I’ll treat myself! For now, visit their site and order your own!
